If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KidzStep website, products, and services ("Services").

Throughout these Terms, the terms "KidzStep," "we," "our," and "us" refer to the operator of this website.

2. Eligibility

By using this website or purchasing any product, you confirm that:

  • You are at least eighteen (18) years of age or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • All information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.
  • You will use the Services only for lawful purposes.

If payment has already been received for a cancelled order, the applicable amount will be refunded.

We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional shipping costs, or returned shipments resulting from incorrect information provided during checkout.

Risk of loss and responsibility for the Product transfers to the customer upon delivery to the shipping address provided during checkout, or as otherwise provided under applicable law.

Customers should promptly inspect their delivery and contact us if the package appears damaged, incomplete, or incorrect.

13. Returns & Refunds

Returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Return & Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

14. Product Use & Customer Responsibilities

KidzStep products are designed for use as potty-training underwear.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Selecting the appropriate size for their child.
  • Following the care and washing instructions supplied with the Product.
  • Using the Product only for its intended purpose.
  • Inspecting the Product before use.
  • Discontinuing use if the Product becomes damaged or otherwise unsuitable.

Parents and caregivers should supervise children appropriately and use their own judgment regarding the child's readiness for potty training.

KidzStep products should not be considered a substitute for diapers or other protective products in situations where additional protection is required.

15. Product Information & Results

KidzStep provides product information and guidance for general informational purposes.

Individual potty-training experiences vary from child to child. We do not guarantee a particular potty-training timeframe, outcome, or level of success.

Product features and performance may vary depending on factors including proper sizing, use, washing, care, and the individual child's needs.

16. Warranty

KidzStep may provide a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects for the period stated in our Warranty Policy.

The warranty does not apply to damage resulting from:

  • Improper use
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Accidents
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper washing or care
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Damage caused by improper handling
  • Use outside the intended purpose
  • Failure to follow care instructions
  • Damage caused after delivery that is unrelated to a manufacturing defect

The Warranty Policy forms part of these Terms.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • KidzStep shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services or Products.
  • Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a purchase shall not exceed the purchase price actually paid for the Product giving rise to the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection laws.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the legal entity operating the KidzStep website, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in the customer's country of residence.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

22. Force Majeure

KidzStep shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Pandemics
  • Labor disputes
  • Government actions
  • War
  • Transportation interruptions
  • Utility failures
  • Supplier disruptions
  • Carrier delays
  • Other events beyond our reasonable control

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

24. Product Care & Stop Use

Customers should follow all care and washing instructions supplied with the Product.

The Product should no longer be used if it becomes significantly damaged, torn, excessively worn, or otherwise unsuitable for its intended purpose.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Warranty Policy, and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and KidzStep concerning the Services and supersede prior communications or understandings relating to the same subject matter.

I removed the bicycle compatibility, crash, installation, mounting, restraint-system, and cycling safety sections from the MiniBiker version because they don't apply to KidzStep. The original also identified MiniBiker as the operator and included its Hong Kong company details.

Important: I also deliberately did not put a made-up company name/address into the KidzStep legal section. Use your actual legal entity there before publishing.
